I have been given a Go700 to bring up to date. In the past when I have done these old units I have used NC 8.203 and the latest map which has everything on it

Unfortunately the map I would like to use has not been uploaded, so I am looking at using a different NC to support what has been uploaded ie the only UK map or possibly a western or northern europe map with lane guidance etc.

Any advice on which NC to use I would be grateful.

all this worked for me very reliably on older models

I had already tried the tonyzeta 9.510 SE files but they are dead.

Do they exist elsewhere?

I have now tried different 9.510 NC with the same result.

The opening drum roll, A picture of tomtom and then a blank screen.

Seriously thinking of just going back to NC 8.204 and a slightly older map perhaps a 925 map which I have successfuly instaled before on a go700

Already done that, but only the 940.5963 metas for the maps of western europe or the UK are available.

So, are far as I can see, it looks like NC 8.204 and a 925 map are it. Unless you know better....

I will have to check the available metas.

I am so glad I did a full backup of the unit. Its back to how I had it and its working. Its just very out of date.
