Ah. I installed one, didn't work so I installed the other and didn't work either.

So those 2 Zippy files make the one NC then?

Incidentally, I found and installed NC 9.170 SE-ONE&XL. That keeps turning itself off and then back on

Yes, d/l both into one place then extract the .zip file which will then create the full .rar archive then extract/unrar that & copy all the contents of the extracted folder to your device

The ONE&XL won't run on an x00 like your 700

I think I have won the battle.

I found a NC 9.051.503855.2 on an external HD (where I keep all my TomTom stuff) and it seems to be working. Got to put or update the zip file on it but I think it is now sorted. It does think it is a Go 940 though.

My fingers are very much crossed at the mo, but it has been on now for the past 1/2 hour without turning itself off, although it is quite slow at booting up.

Thanks to all. If you don't hear from me on this matter, then I'm done.

I think that must be the same one as I've just installed.

I do have saved on my external HDD a "collection" of V8 & V9 navcores. I didn't see it in that collection though. It was an entirely seperate file.

They are mainly all SE 9.1** NC's

    Regards

Glad it's resolved .. saves me having to learn how to upload files as suggested by Biggardave a few posts back .... I was about to ask for help and a "how to" .. then I read you'd sorted it .....
