The name of this feature says it already: You can change/emulate the graphic surface (skin) of your NC.
Same NC not always have the same skin on the diverent devices, if you use the original TT-NC. E.g.: a NC 9.510 on a x20 has another skin (the icons) as on a x30 (small differences) and a big difference to x40/50. It's like Win3 against Win7. The skin chooser can change this.
But not every emulation supports all hardware features! If you select "x40" or "x50" on a Go 920, you will lose EPT, voice-control, night-day by sensor and TMC.
In this case a untouched Truck-NC 9.702 is the better way to get the x40-design and keep all features of the device...
Can you tell me how it works because when i push that icon, i can push the right or left arrow then the screen changes in another emu number and then nothing further happens.
Then again, i think it is not an important feature maybe just for fun to change the looks of your TomTom.
Just two short tap's in the middel of your screen, done
thank you I also found it on the net
After installing this I keep getting messages about how I need to use a bluetooth headset for voices. What gives? Sounds used to work directly with the tomtom device.
Have you installed the 9.500 Rider navcore by mistake?
Nevermind, fixed it.
