    NC 9541c : WNRO-bug fixed version

    This NC was published to fix WNRO-bug on GL2 devices

    If you have a device with 64MB RAM, download 9541_64MB.zip (*_Go) otherwise 9541_32MB.zip (*_LE)

    If you want to add Computer-Voices take a look at:

    Fix for GL1 is added
    Many TNX to @treysis

    There has never been a wnro-problem with SiRF3 (GOx10,20,30,Rider1,2,..)

    NC 9501a : WNRO-bug fixed version
    (Birthday = Thursday 27 June 2019)
    This NC was published to fix WNRO-bug on all devices

    You will need a bluetooth-headset.
    It is expected to work on One 1st, One 2nd, XL 1st, any Go, any Rider.
    On TT-devices without bluetooth this would be useless or you forgo sound.
    Rider User Guide can be found on TTs homepage.

    The conversion tool from @treysis is still integrated, but disabled by default.
    It is not needed to fix the wnro-bug anymore.

    If you want to enable it, simply rename file "ttsystem_conv" to "ttsystem" (replace).
    This only makes sense, if want to use 3rd party tools like "MiniLog" or similar.
    All others should take the benefit of a small amount more RAM.

    If you want to use the latest release from @treysis only replace the file "ttconv" in folder "bin":

    Many TNX to @treysis

    All:
    I made some modifications
    - to get my NCs work on small devices (32 MB RAM),
    - made them configureable to emulate different devices
    - and patched them to get them work with any map.

    The screenshot feature (shutter noise when touching upper left corner of navigation screen) can be disabled by removing or renaming the folder "screen".

    If your device doesn't have a microphone,
    - remove folder "ASR"
    - don't use an ASR/CSPEECH enabled map

    If you have a small device (32 MB RAM),
    - remove folder "LoquendoTTS"
    - use configuration of a small device ("oneiq" or "xliq" for example)
    - deactivate IQ-Routes
    - use small maps (only one country):
    Link URL:

    -> 4.) includes base features

    Installation
    Just copy the NC of your choice onto an empty sdcard (internal, if available), add a map (external sdcard, if available), activate the map and be happy!!
    No patching etc. needed.

    These skins are available:
    "x20" = Go x20
    "x30" = Go x30
    "x40" = Go x40
    "x50" = Go x50
    "oneiq" = One IQ == x40light
    "xliq" = XL IQ == x40light2
    "xlliveiq" = XL LIVE IQ == x40light3

    What do you think is going to happen with older TomTom Systems in the Week Number Rollover?
    Is it like the millenium bug because nothing happen then.

    I really hope you are right ;-)

    Maybe its "only" an advertising joke from TT to sell more GPS.

    Its a fact that latest NC that fixes the bug doesn't include a new firmware for the GPS-chip inside the TomTom-device. I can't find anything related inside the ttsystem file.

    The older NC for the Rider does include firmware for the GPS-chip, but this Rider 2013 does NOT need an update.
    TT says it will work fine after 6.April without any update.
    The GPS-chip inside Rider 2013 device is different to the others for carnavigation.

    All older Riders will stop working after 06.April TT says.

    Many thanks for 9.541! I was previously running 9.051c on my 720 Go. Computer voices were working properly then. However, I'm struggling to find a way to get them to work with 9.541. Just to be clear... the computer voices are available but there's no audio after pressing the test button.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks again!

    Fredderf,
    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I got it fixed! I had actually skimmed over those posts earlier in the day but I had no clue what they were for. LOL

    The fix was to download the .cab file for Kate (computer voice) and extract its contents to the root of the LoquendoTTS folder (Post #33 by TomTom13E). BMWdriver's 9.541 already includes the LTTS7AudioBoard.so and LoqAudioBoard.so files in their respective folders.

    Sweet! I have yet to road-test it but my TT 720 Go seems better than ever! I really like the Command/Control feature!

    Hello,
    I try to do working your navcore 9.541 on my Go930 and that doesn't work....
    Without change anything to your files pack "9.541", after starting, the Gps freeze after 20 sec and reboot.
    I have done the install many times, with erasing the settings files and always the same issue.
    Do you have an idea what to erase or change?
    Thanks
