Where can I get the 9.541b NC? TTHome won't update my device.
Maybe post # 1 is interesting for you?
Thanks for that, I'm still having problems, The NC you gave me is causing a few problems on the road, so I will try this one, Probably better than 6.560 from TT.
Sure it is, at least you're able to use the latest maps
When it slow down your device extremely, try version 9.510
In case you're unable to find 9.510, tell me, please.
got it working with 9541 but it was so slow that it was unusable, it took 10minutes to enter a post code and after another 15 minutes of route planning it had done less than 1%. the device was getting quite hot as well.
And you're back to 9.510 or didn't find it yet ?
I cobbled the 9.510 from the original backup I made, the problem was I had totally forgotten the procedures and methods of updating, I did it once before a long time ago, since then all the original files and folders have either been archived or more likely destroyed.
Looking at the original back up, I used 9.510 then or TomTom had updated me at some point.
I copied all the files from the backup without the maps and ttgo.bif. I then copied the new maps to the card, ran the device and switched it off, reconnected it and copied activator2019 across, ran activator and its working fine except for the WNRO problem, I copied the glgps file to the bin directory but it made no difference.
Is there any chance this will be fixed any time soon?
There already 480 replies in the thread about the WNRO, what do you excpect ?
I think some solutions work temporarily, but is it really a problem to provide the ephem folder with recent data once a week or shortly before departure?
That's how I do it right now and it still works
In case you doubt your Navcore, mind your mailbox, please.
That thread has to be the most confusing thread on the site, everyone seems to be contradicting each other, so many devices and so many solutions that only seem to work at the right time in the right place. by the time I read them all my brain hurt and I was still none the wiser with a clock that sets to 00:00.
What do I expect? I don't really expect anything, I was just hoping that the clock issue was going to be a simple fix, not so. A lot of people who know a lot more about the intricacies of these systems still seem to be searching for an answer, some aren't affected, some seem to have a fix for xxx device, some have two devices the same one fixed one not. but thanks for your help.
You're welcome.
But it is indeed just what you expect.
I also believe that the clock is not that important, receiving the satellites is a much bigger problem
