I have been trying to repair a tomtom that had been connected to Mydrive to update navcore and map officially for free but upon boot it goes to map screen stays on greyed out map screen for 10 seconds approx then reboots until powered off by button. When connected back to Mydrive it doesn't recognize device but does in recovery and preceded to repair to 100% but problems still exist despite numerous repair attempts.

I then decided to try and install the navcore patch_nav5.sh thinking this would restore device. when doing this I get the same message in terminal stating "Cannot find tomtom data, have you used right device name?". I then tried to restore userdata from backup but message states "no sparse img. found. Next I opened userdata.bin file and file structure looks corrupted it shows a tree of three directories, SYS, Lost+Found and To_Install.

My thought now is to download a navcore and format partition then install navcore to restore with either patch or officially if thats possible.

If anybody has come across this problem and has a solution or point me in the right direction i would be grateful.
