Hi everyone, I'm trying to restore the backup of my tomtom go 620 .... I go to the edl folder, start restore_fdt_userdata, insert the com port, do ok and it tells me error flash programmer failed ... Given that I have the tomtom with the white display. What do you tell me is it locked? And to throw away? Thank you.

    this is nav5,
have you followed the steps in the tutorial??
It says that you have to unmount the device, with the device turned off, make the bridge, in device manager you have to see the COM port, run _restore_fdt_userdata.bat then put the COM port number, remember that in the same folder you have to have the files you made from the copy, fdt and userdata.
says that it has a white screen has been OFF, when it does the bridge is still off.
    regards

if you have the Pinout of your motherboard, connect with Easy-jtag, you must first remove your FDT partition also make a complete copy of the device in case any more files were needed.
does it have a copy of the device?
if what he did is put a copy of another device and he has no doubt that he can recover it.
    regards
