    What mod(s) are you thinking about doing, just updating maps? (I assume you already have life-time maps?)

    I would say that was safe but just hold on until someone else who knows more about these, can confirm it. Do remember to do a backup before you try to modify ANY device.

    Just have the precaution of installing Map Camper on SD card and remove it when you connect to MyDrive Connect, otherwise it will be deleted.
    You can put patch, you will not lose your subscription, you can choose that circular map.
