    Is there likely to be a patch for my new GO Expert NAV5 (Model No. 8YB6.002.20.1) with software version 21.300.0003 any time soon ?

    Also, does the linux system used have to be Kali as I've got the latest version of xubuntu running in VirtualBox on my Win10 PC ?

    I noticed there's now a patch for version 21.200.003.411.

    your TomTom is last one now in commerce , it's last tomtom generation
    tomtom go Discover for car and tomtom go Expert for truck , but this device has got a different system , different maps and navcore , i don't know a lot about this devices ..maybe they are similar to Nav5 but also different , i think we can call this device into Nav6 !
    it's like TomTom NDS for android on smartphone , i think this devices use the same maps probably !
    we hope that MSTMS can be show us the way to patch them , for me it's a black holes ! ... sure only MSTMS can be patch that new tomtom devices ....must wait !
    until a few months ago we didn't even think about updating the Nav3, but now we are already able to patch the Nav5s, so let's let the MSTMS team work and in the meantime let's thank them very much

    Look in the NAV5 section for patches. I don’t have a NAV5 device, just the newer NAV6 and there is no patch yet for these newer devices.
