we are in NAV5 section,
you are with VIA 62? Navcore 18,203.0026.311, this would be NAV4 ???
NAV4 uses Navcore different from Nav5, could break your device.
Please make sure what device you want to update or repair.

I have just performed MD5 control of the 2 disk. before applying patch and after. There is no difference, the disc is intact.

You can confirm the steps followed in NAV5,
1º put device EDL mode, check COM port.
2º in 1_EDL folder Run patch_bootmode.bat.
3º turn off device, press start button and keep up on black screen white letters, 3 quick beats in boot button, the screen should stay the letters of TomTom.
4th Continue with Kali.
