I am talking about the RDS-TMC traffic receiver
I do not mean the sim card

I have two of it 600 without a card and one connects to the antenna and the other does not
whether it's a matter of navcore or the lack of required files

as Simba told you there are many versions of tomtom and even if they look the same aesthetically then there are differences.
if you take the tomtom go 6000 it is aesthetically the same as the tomtom go 600 ... they are the same aesthetically.
but the go 6000 has a Sim inside while the go 600 has no phone sim
so probably the go 6000 does not connect to traffic information via TMC but only with its sim, while the go 600 connects to the TMC battery charger for traffic or via bluetooth.
    this is just one example!
TOMTOM has always done this ... you remember the tomtom go x50 series
there were tomtom go 750 live and go 950 live with their sim for traffic information and they did not connect with the TMC battery charger, instead the go 750 T or go 950 T used the battery charger with TMC for traffic information.
so the software or rather the navcore has nothing to do with it ... tomtom go 6000 has the same navcore as the go 600 or other models, Nav4 all have the exact same Navcore ... but change the hardware inside these tomtoms, do you understand me ?!
so you just have to try, if you connect the battery charger with TMC and the traffic information works well, otherwise there is no solution, it does not concern the software / navcore but the components of the tomtom that you cannot change.
however the traffic info via TMC is not true, while the traffic info via Sim or via Bluetooth (connected to the smartphone) is really excellent and with real-time updates

    Another example

I designate the route from point A to point B
one of them 600 tells me what time the arrival will be
    and the other 600 doesn't

Same model, same navcore and different traffic information!

same model, same navcore, if one tells you arrival time and another does not, the one that does NOT say arrival time, DOES NOT get satellite signal, it seems that it would be a hardware problem.
    regards

I believe you might have two different 600 editions, a Start 600 and a Go 600.
According to TomTom, the Start edition uses TMC to get traffic information. The Go edition uses data sharing via Bluetooth from your phone to get that information.
Please check if the device that doesn't have TMS connection has Bluetooth connection.

I have a Go 600 on my motorcycle and it works that way, connects via Bluetooth to my Android to get traffic and mobile speed cameras information.

The ones that have a SIM card are called 6000, not 600.

I've tested this patch on a Go 60, a Go 500 and a Go 600. Only the Go 60 gave me the patch failed message, but only the first time I've turned it on.
The three are working flawlessly. Thank you again @simba

thanks for commenting on the results, it can help other users, yes the patch notice failed, in some it comes out in others it doesn't. I ask of these 3 devices that you mention, did any of them have problems before with the other patches or were they working well?
    regards

All of them were working fine. The GO 60 had the freezing problem when it got GPS signal the first time I applied the 21.100 patch, but then I restored it and applied it again and it was working normally.
I believe next week I'll have a 6000 and a 6100 to patch. Will report the results.
