    Default Go6000

Hello. I recently bought a tomtom go 6000 gps second hand. The problem with this gps is that I turn it on but the image freezes at different stages: either with the tomtom logo or after loading the map, it turns black and I can't access it in any way. I tried to enter recovery mode and connected to MDC but the same thing happens: the gps freezes and no longer responds to commands. What can I do?

To be able to give solution, if you have it, in the distance for me it is very difficult.
With care not to break or leave marks. Disassemble it, there are videos on YouTube how to disassemble.
Disconnect the battery for approximately 30 minutes, then without connecting the battery, press and hold the boot button several times, to remove possible power residue, then connect the battery and set the connector on the screen, it is not necessary to mount it yet, connect it to the PC Leave it What boot, if you are activated in battery options, you should start, if you do not start attempt to press starting button, if it is already booting factory restore then connect to MyDrive Connect.
I wish you luck if you can not make it work, it is very possible that the internal memory is dying.
    regards

I followed the steps recommended by Simba and after 10,000 reboots the gps finally came back from clinical death. now I want to try to install MSTMS patch to modify it for what I need. I want to install the maps for the trucks. I want to thank everyone for the wonderful work you are doing. RESPECT
