While I was doing a full device restore from backup with Nav4free there was a power outage so now Start 50 (VG) is dead and showing no signs of life.

Can it be repaired somehow if I can't start recovery.

Have you put the device to charge?
If the device has a charge and you turn it on, what does the device do?

If you hold down the power button 20 ", what does the device do?


If you can add images it is easier to understand, in case your device does something.

If you connect it to the pc, the pc detects that it has been connected, I mean the sound of usb, we already know that the unit is not seen.

i'm not sure , but maybe it could be right ! ... if you was restoring your tomtom backup with MSTMS patch and then something was wrong then your tomtom is like dead and i think you can resume it only by put it into EDLMode and then you can flash your backup again ...i mean like Nav5 .
i don't know how to put a Nav43 into EDLmode and if it 's possible ... i think only the MSTMS team can help you ...it's no easy sistuation , very damage for your tomtom !

Are you sure that the device takes a charge from the battery?
