TomTom go500 nav.4 possibile applicare patch
Buongiorno ho un TomTom go500 nav.4 v.18.203.0026.311 (QJ)
è possibile applicare patch su questo modello?
se andasse male è possibire ripristinare come prima della patch?

if it goes wrong is it possible to restore as before the patch?

Only use it with Navcore 20.100.0001.311 !

I patched a TomTom Go 50 nav.4 v.18.203.0026.311, because MyDrive Connect did not offer me the navcore update to v. 20... Then I installed the map for trucks on SD card and everything worked perfectly. I have truck settings on GPS. With Nav4Free.bat you can always uninstall the patch and use MyDrive Connect for updates, if you want.

I don't know how it works for you, the patch is supposed to be for application 20 and not for 18 ... let's see if another colleague says something ..

Could you tell me if the traffic works with this unit and any re routing wiith closed roads takes into account your truck settings?

LAMedia, are you sure that this map is a map downloaded by TTActivator and that your current navcore is 18?
Do you have the patch for navcore 18?

if you conenct tomtom to mydrive then you must update navcore before install new maps
if you used your donwloaded map and activated with patch then it's no normal that it works with that navcore 18
But the important thing is that you can use every navcore into your tomtom and for example you can use a micro sd with many maps (europe truck,europe camper ,etc....all last versione 10.70)
then if you go to Menu/SETUP/SYSTEM/INFO then you can see all this map into your micro SD i mean the tomtom says that every maps into your micro SD are installed , but if you go to Menu/SETUP/MAPS THEN no one WILL WORKS !!!
TRY , YOU WILL SEE THAT
if you active with patch and navcore 20 then every maps into your micro sd will works, but if you use navcore 18 then no maps into micro sd will works , sure tomtom show you that they are installed..but NO one can works !
so about @LAMedia he only show two photo ... he must make a video to show that in his tomtom there is installed navcore 18 and if he go to menù to change maps , then europe truck will works ...(because i think his tomtom will show him..impossible to load this map !!)Last edited by spoon1; 20th June 2021 at 04:37 PM.

When that TomTom Go 50 came to me, it had an older map and navcore 18.... I connected it to the PC and with MyDrive Connect I wanted to update its navcore, the map of Central and Eastern Europe, plus the rest of updates. I knew that I needed navcore 20... so I could install the patch and truck map. The surprise was that MyDrive Connect offered me all the updates, including 1070 maps, except for navcore. I reset the device, emptied the folder on the PC where TomTom downloads the files for updates, I connected to another MyDrive Connect account, but the update of the navcore from 18 to 20 does not appear in MyDrive Connect. I wrote to TomTom, but they were also surprised that I can't update the navcore, and in the end they wrote me to send the device to a TomTom service. After about a month of trying to update navcore, I decided to try to install the patch on navcore 18 and everything worked fine. Then I installed the truck map on an SD card, the map that I had downloaded with TTActivator a long time before and that I had also installed on other TomTom devices. Everything worked perfectly! That's all! If you don't believe it, try it!

why not belive ? .. I do not say that i do not believe in you , I only say that there is an anomalous situation,your tomtom has an anomalous behavior, but in which common case it is good for you .... no problem!
