about to change map name is easy ...and it's like old tomtom series .
using FileZilla you can go inside the tomtom and here:
/data/ttcontent/common/installed
you can find the map folder (for example Europe )
go inside Europe folder and you can find this file :
Europe.PNA
so now download this file Europe.PNA from FileZilla to your Pc and then open it
your file will be something like this:
ID=Europe.pna
1600654421
1065
build=10720
id=3314187
release_date=20210106
so now you can changew only the first line ...for esxample ..like this :
ID=Europe_TRUCK_by_LAMedia.pna
1600654421
1065
build=10720
id=3314187
release_date=20210106
use this simbol _ to make space from a word to word
modify it with any editor program and then save it , so now return this file to the tomtom...from Pc to inside your TomTom by FileZilla
that's all ...restart your tomtom and then you have changed the map name .
1. This you can do only after map was activated , no before it !
2. if you will upload a new map by tomtom mydrive connect or into Team MSTMS patch then you will lost your modified map name , and you have to do it again (after map activation) if you want to have map name changed.

you have not to open tomtom files by FileZilla , just download tomtom files into you pc using FileZilla ,then whae this file is into your tomtom then you can change it with a windows editor program (notepad or others) ...after done it ... you put this modified file from Pc into your tomtom using FileZilla .
Filezilla is to see tomtom internal memory...it's a transporter like " Caronte " ! the files from tomtom to Pc and then go back Pc to tomtom using filezilla

i told you step by step ....ah and it's easy ! just try it , please
install FileZilla into you Pc
connect your tomtom to pc and into Filezilla into the top size insert to Host: 169.254.255.1 and port: 21
so press to connect and now you can see your tomtom ( it must be with patch , patching done !)
on the right size of Filezilla you can see you tomtom , so go to this tomtom map folder:
/data/ttcontent/common/installed/Europe (or the name of any other maps)
inside map foleder you can see "Mapnamefile".pna ...for example Europe.PNA
so now drag this file into your Pc (left size on Filezilla ) or press right click on your mouse and then press download, then you will find the file in the folder of your PC
so now you have Europe.PNA file on your Pc and you can modify it with any editor programs...for example
from:

to:
ID=Europe_TRUCK.pna

now you save this file and you return it from Pc to tomtom ...from left part to right part on FileZilla ..or only drag this file from Pc to TomTom map folder on FileZilla ....
it's easy , very easy ...you must only to try ...i can not explane more good then like this way...maybe probably my english is bad...can not explane more well...sorry.
