Try an other cable!
Or, try an other laptop!
@ LAMedia,
Tried an other cable already, no succes.
On my desktop computer there is no problem.
An other laptop not available.
Thanks anyway
Peter
Hi Peter,
It looks a bit familiar to me. but with an external HDD, via the USB on my desktop but unfortunately no connection to the laptop.
I am happy to offer you to test it here, on several PCs, all with Windows 10.
Now I have to mention that yesterday during an update of a Start 20 a number of times it was not recognized by my desktop in TTactivator.
I then very regoriously threw everything off and put everything back on it with MydriveConnect, the device was then back to the position it was when it was purchased.
By the way, this is a device made available to me by Norbert JPGblue, this aside.
After everything was back in the old state I could do everything I wanted with it again, I immediately replaced the 16GB SDHC card with one of 32GB, for that it is necessary to adjust Rlinkexplorer by replacing a dll file .
In the meantime I have not tried to establish a connection in the old state on one of my other PCs, so no comparison with the possibly not working properly of an USB port.
Aad,
Thank you for the offer, but I have also three desktop computers (all with Windows 10) and at least on one of them al works well.
Peter
For what it's worth, and after reading what you can & can't do and what you've tried & not tried, it just has to be something to do with the laptop itself; not the device or USB cable which both work fine on your desktop pc. I know that doesn't fix things for you but that really is what you need to fix, rather than anything else. good luck anyway
