Ok, I can give that a try in about 2 or 3 weeks time. no problem about sharing the meta here.. When I had my other TomTom device hooked up on TomTom Home, It detected my device as no longer available or words to that affect. It required my login email. Then took me to a different website to purchase something different.
I tried using the TomTom Home - End of Life Bypass. It does not seem to work for me. When I connect one of my spare TomTom devices via TomTom Home. It detects my device and says due to age of my device, its no longer possible to update with new software, buy maps and services.
Then says Australia Map already on the device.
My PC is Windows 11 Pro 21H2 x 64bit
I think this trick will only work for a device where you have registered it previously and the ttgo.bif shows your username?
Greetings
The same thing happened to me with my TT Go 950 Live, I logged in with my username and password to TT Home.
The TT detected me, and told me the same thing; It is no longer possible to upgrade with new software, purchase maps and services. I updated everything that TT Home told me and once there was nothing else....
I used the patch from and everything was correct; Starting with this patch I was able to buy the Map of Europe for my old TT Go 950 Live (which is already EoL)
I use Win 11 23H2 x64
Greetings Poteo_Roke,
Hmm, I must be doing something wrong then.
I also used the patch from TomTom Home - End of Life Bypass.
I'm wondering whether I suppose to have my device connected to TomTom Home, then used the patch, or was I suppose to install the patch in the GPS Device, if so, whereabouts does it need to be installed. Maybe I might need step by step instruction on this. Thanks
Greetings
Do you have a TT account???, if not, create it (it's free).
Then you install the latest version of TT Home (), connect the TT, and update EVERYTHING that the TT Home tells you ...
Once you have the updated TT, apply the patch, following the instructions at
thank you
Greetings Poteo_Roke,
Yes, I do have a TT account. I have previously downloaded the latest version of TT Home. after updating TomTom, then apply the patch. Ok, I'll do that later today.
Thank you.
