from what I see from the most upto date maps TT have given us with the latest version, they are still lagging. I currently drive mostly in Manchester. A road junction on the East Lancs was temporarily causing road delays and has now been closed over 4 months. According to TT, turn right to avoid delay. The Road is closed. The map on my Audi, knows that and did several months ago, when it just reduced lanes and now closed permanently. odd the lastest TT map does not know. What maps do TT use?

today22/11/2022. update. big traffic jams. TT and Audi disagreed and I did usual TT routings which was great. the Audi would have been incorrect. Having said that, for about 2 weeks routing on TT not available, but today it was and and as usual is better. Admittedly when it does not work, it really is a pain, hence my comments, but when it works, it really is the best. Dave knows what I do, but the rest do not. I say good when things are fine, but when not, I am quick to complain. When I do drive to a location, I always need to know the fastest route and if changes, need reroutes fast. TT has been great and still is... When working. Last few weeks was not, hence comments. Today was great

TomTom admit it can take 6-12 months from receipt of a map correction submitted by a customer before they actually incorporate it into their next map release!

I do appreciate that they must receive literally thousands of these reports and each individual one has to be checked/verified and then added to the next map release

Back in the day, years ago one road change took 3 years to get corrected, and 4 years to update two street names to be corrected, one is still awaiting correction
strange how google maps know it correctly, but using through Audi and using satellite imaging. routing on TT is still better on TT than Audi

Same here with BMW and Here maps. These Germans uses Here maps but navigation is much worse than Tomtom. Also BMW maps are horrible in detailing the route and roundabouts. I use now Carplay and Tomtom maps on the big car touchscreen.
Backup is the latest map on a 930 device. Oke it has a slow CPU but will do the job in case of emergencies.
