Sony XNV-660BT Info
Super noob here. I am just looking to update my maps if possible.
I have a Sony Head unit with a detachable Tom Tom GPS.
It is a DJ serial number. It will only connect to Mydrive, not recognized by Home. Active maps of US & Canada V 8.80.
I saw everywhere that first step should be to back it up. When I plugged it in to my computer (Windows 10) it did not recognize it as something with storage but rather a usb device.

Hi, I think you device can to be a nav 3.
You can download TTActivator and see if you SD is recognized...

The last Maps i know about your Device are be
980.7894
maybe update-link are changing or Later Maps are be not supported, i don´t know
Maps are be Nav 3 i think, in Android Format, Folder named "com.tomtom.australia"Last edited by Proukaet; 10th November 2021 at 08:34 PM.

i think is something like Carminat Live or Mazda live system !

Ok After checking my device the App is 12.801.3187857.514 (0) (8256, 3/21/2019) OS 689520
I am unable to use TTActivator because when I plug it into the computer, I cannot find the device when browsing my computer

By the navcore you present your device should be nav3.
We do not have a specific MSTMS patch for navcore 12.801 ... so you should not try to use TTActivator or any other nav3 guide on your device, we do not know what can happen.
Perhaps in the future some of the MSTMS members can make a patch for that navcore, I will discuss it with the team.
If you can get to the black screen of your device, post an image.

In order for TTActivator to be able to connect to any device, in addition to having MDC installed on the computer, you must make sure that MDC is completely turned off, even from the taskbar next to the windows clock.
