Updating the firmware makes your device connect to the satellites faster and in more quantity, you just have to put the file on a card like this:

And boot your device with the card.

I have already sent him a direct link, every now and then I give something away, because I have a weakness for Spaniards,
at my last employer I often spoke with a Spaniard about the 80-year war between our countries.
I can't forget it and it often wakes me up at night

    Hi folks,

I'm having this issue again with my Tomtom Rider v2 so went to Tomtom home to update the quickgpsfix file but as soon as I connect my satnav to my Mac, Tomtom home quits and won't restart as long as my satnav is connected.
Anyone know how to fix this issue, or another way to update the quickgpsfix file? It's Macos 10.13.6 and Tomtom Home 2.23.
I'm off on holiday on my bike on Friday so any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks
