When you download the map with TT Activator, choose nav2, then 1070 and Auto-Extract checked. You will have the map unzipped (folders, files). You can download the map to your PC / laptop or directly to GPS. Then you need the meta file and the activation of the map. Navcore must be patched!

Thanks for your response biggerdave.
This is not a replacement battery but a TomTom Go 950 4CP9.002.00R GPS from a used buy / sell site.

I think most likely there's no difference in the model, just an extra "R" maybe added by that one seller.
You could ask him but if he doesn't know what he's selling then walk away as there are plenty of used TT's around

Hello,
I've 2 TomTom GPS :
1) Start 62 model name : 4AA63 (device code / first 2 digits of the serial number : ET)
and
2) VIA 135 model 4EQ50 Z1230 (device code / first 2 digits of the serial number : BP)
New question : how to update the radar base / speedcam for free in these 2 TomTom GPS please ?
