According to my list it should be a NAV4 TT 500 (not 510) with 8 Gb memory and a micro SD cart slot.

It is not EoL yet. So if you can still get free maps on it the price of €30 looks nice to me.

Be careful with 510 models people are shipping old nav1 510, instead of nav4 510.

Ask them to show you pictures of the device and serial number.

Merci Peter, j'ai bien regardé vos fichiers, en effet, il est indiqué dans le tableau qu'il s'agit du modèle TomTom GO 500.
But the seller écrit dans l'annonce et me dis que c'est un modèle TomTom GO 510.

Thank you orni for the warning but I have the photos and the serial number.

And it is indeed a TomTom GO 500 or 510 model. I do not know the exact model. I would like to know that. How to do it please ?

The first 2 digits of the serial number is the official key to the model.
You can find those numbers on several TomTom sites.

OK Peter, but how can I know before purchase, if it is a TomTom GO 500 model or TomTom GO 510 model with the he first 2 digits of the serial number (QX) ?
What are the differences between the TomTom GO 500 model and TomTom GO 510 model ?
    Thank you

I don’t know the difference. I think the serial number of a TT 510 starts with QY. So if you have a QX it must be a TT 500.
There are also TT 500 with QI, QJ, QT, QV. They are all NAV4 devices with almost the same specifications.
At last there is a very old TT 500 version with M3 as First 2 digits.
This is a NAV2 device (prehistoric, so don’t buy)

And used TomTom Go 950 (NAV2), do you advise me to buy ?
I already have 3 copies of this model and it is very practical as a model. You can load all the maps of the world you want into the local GPS under Windows without going through TomTom Home ^^
I haven't found a better GPS so far. And you what do you think ?
The problem with this TomTom Go 950 model is the original battery which does not hold up at all given its age
    Thank you

Changing a battery can even be done by a girl like me. I changed the battery to a tomtom Go 930 device and a tomtom Go 1005 device.

If you don't care about the size of the screen, the gps nav2 are much better than the nav3 and nav4 if you are going to put maps of several countries also support more navcore change tweaks. They are just as functional as nav3 and nav4 but you can also put your own pdi and speedcam from web forums.

If you care about size then look for a 6 "screen nav4 or nav5, they usually have maps and radars for life, understanding the entire commercial life of the product according to the manufacturer.

I have about a dozen tomtom devices and I don't usually use none regularly, in my daily life I use google maps.

I replaced the battery of my TT 950 LIVE already twice.
It is still a nice and functioning device. Only I lost the live traffic information, because I did not refreshed the payed traffic abonnement for more then 1,5 year.
In my car and in my camper I now use my TT 5200 (NAV5) in stead of the build in devices in both cars. Very good device.
