Look in the Compatible thread in the map section
    the 1001 is a Nav2 map and the 1010 is a Nav3 map

My current collection; NAV2: GO 300 (M1); ONE XL (L1); GO XXL (GQ); GO 910 (V7); GO 950 LIVE (W1)
    NAV3: GO 820 LIVE (FU) NAV5: GO 5200 (ZB)

Yes, these maps exist and their activation codes also.
It would therefore make no sense to use a (to be cleaned beforehand) NAV3 map instead of the NAV2 map.

I saw the compatible chart (I wrote "picture"), and I didnt see where was this information.
Then, if I have the old Go950. Which map is correct to put, 1001 or 1010?

Look all the way down on the chart. There are the colors including corresponding version numbers explained.
There is no "either 1045_10001 or 1045_10010".
The first choice for your Go950 always unlockable high-level maps (these light green, who support all features). So depending on the geografic region 1045_10000/10001/10002 or 10003. Also a 1045_10041 in special cases (e.g. some US maps). Only if one of these maps or regions not exist or is not unlockable, does it make sense to look for alternatives (Mazda-NB1, NAV3, Carminat, at last Low Level). Example: For a current Middle_East only exist code for Low-Level Middle_East_1045_10008, for current Taiwan only code for NAV3 Taiwan_1045_10012. For Israel, India or Egypt at the moment only code for the older NAV3 versions 1025_9381. If you only want a complete Europe, take current Europe_1045_10000. If you only want a single country like France, take a current 1045_10001. If you want a complete Northern Amerika map, take current USA_Canada_and_Mexico_1045_10002. If you only want USA without speeech control, take United_States_1045_10041. If you want USA with speech control, the only one is NAV3 United_States_1045_10011 which has a code for. If you want Southeast_Asia, take Southeast_Asia_1045_10003...

In conclusion: NAV3-maps 1045_10010 are not required for a european single country map. All 1045_10001 maps, for which a corresponding Nav3-map with code exist, have also a code.
