Thank you, but that does not answer my question at all: why do the GO x20 and x30 with navcore 9,702 have problems discovering satellites since April 6, when did they not have any before?

May I be free to ask for your help because I really can't get out. I apologize if I ask this question in the wrong group. It's about the following. I have a TomTom Dublin which was delivered in a Toyota vehicle. However, I am unable to get a map of Europe and / or Benelux working. The TomTom has the following numbers on the back. N14644 DUB1 (4MC0.000.05) 03 9924 DA6410J02694, It has a connection with copper strips. Which navcore should I use and what maps from which series. Thanks

I would take a chance with 9,510 for 32 mb devices and go for the best map in the 1030_9519 series.
The number N14644 is known and appears on the TomTom One as far as I know

I have a serie of original Dublin Navcore's here, but before World War I, certainly not suitable for the newest maps.
    7,822.dublin.CAB-navcore-dublin.cab
    7,823.dublin.CAB-navcore-dublin.cab
    7,824.dublin.CAB-navcore-dublin.cab
    7,825.dublin.CAB-navcore-dublin.cab
    7,827.dublin.CAB-navcore-dublin.cab
    7,828.dublin.CAB-navcore-dublin.cab

Even Newcastle, whatever it may be
    7,831,8706.Newcastle7.cab
    7,832,8707.Newcastle7.cab
    7,833,887.Newcastle7.cab

As your TT is a kind of in-dash navi, hardly any navcore but Dublin will fit you.
I don't know how can you connect your device to PC, but sure you'll find the way.
    You must:
1 - patch navcore (file ttsystem) - in internal memory of device, or maybe - put whole NC on SD card?
2 - activate any suitable map 1030.9525/9526/9527/9578 (see appropriate TT maps forum)
    3 - enjoy latest maps!

Looks like I got both of my devices cured.

My XXL IQ Routes (GL2) was an easy case - I just installed the official 9.541 LE and the newest map + speedcams. No more WNRO issues, however there's an occasional glitch in voice guidance, which may stutter like "after 100 meters turn right -ght-ght-ght". Weird...

My One XL took more testing and experiments to find a decent solution because of GL1 and only 32MB RAM. I have now the Truck 9.702 GL1 edition from Tomtom Truck section, set into x20 emulation in reskin.txt. The 0:00 time issue was fixed right away, but I got signal fix only after cold (drum roll) boot. Now after removing the \ephem folder, I started to get fix also after warm boot like in the old days. Seemingly the QuickGPSfix made more harm than good for this one. With this I also tested whether I could use older voice guidance files from 8.xxx Navcore in 9.xxx, and it has worked so far.

Someone near my area is selling his GO 730 for 20 euros. A bit high price for an EOL device I would say, but it has Sirfstar 3 and our unofficial support is still going so I might end up buying it... Also, new batteries are available in case it's gone bad.

Thanks for everyone who has contributed in our project to keep these devices alive!

    ----------
Update: One XL is having signal loss again. Weird how it worked yesterday after warm boot, but no luck today. Cold boot every time is the way to go then...

A Tomtom DA is a kind of Go720. Get the latest navcore by Tomtom Home and look for a map without bells that is compatible with navcore 7.8xx

What problem are you talking about exactly?

Didn't use my TomTom One V2 (4N00.004.2) (Navcore 9702-truck) since January, and I've heard this GPS clock-satellite bug. Didn't pay attention, because I believed that it does not effect my devices. It does. ONE V3 was working mostly after one startup, but if I've turned it off, and back again it didn't for the rest of the day. Reset, and rebooting over and over but most of the time didn't work.
Downloaded the Navcore Truck 9.702 WNRO ONE GL1 Edition for my ONE V2.
    Lost few Menu points.
Does not work after second startup.
Some greek looking street names has appeared on the map.Search does not work. Street name got some strange letters.
    What did I do wrong?
EDIT: It's working now. Had to run the QuickGPSFix.exe. It says got to have Win7 or higher, but run fine on WinXP.

Other problem: Street and town names are gibberish. Not all name but most of them.
Any idea how to fix that?

You need suicide.dat file to solve your standby issue, or maybe update GPS firmware to GSW3.2.5.
