TomTom One XL serial start L1 mine chipset is GL1 FFFF
Another One XL also started with L1, but chipset only GL
It is not the first time for me that two more or less the same devices work differently

I have a Tom Tom One 3rd edition (v6) first two digits of device are Y2, Navcore 9510 equipped with GPS Type: GL (no number for GL version given, just GL)
Very shortly after fixing satellites the time resets to 0:00 / 12.00am
I have tested with navcore 9541 and new glgps file as previously suggested but it makes no difference.
I have also tested with original 8010 navcore but the fault still remains.
In other words, I confirm the same experience as matheas in post #128
It would be fantastic if a software solution could be found to this frustrating glitch, as in every other respect, my TomTom One still works very well indeed.
Does every sat nav with the sirf 3 chip like GO730s need a quickgpsfix update every week or is it just if your using it with a truck navcore?
If you nearly use your TomTom almost every day you don,t need a quickgpsfix.
A quickgpsfix is useful if you use your TomTom rarely
Sorry i meant on April 7th my GO730 Sirf 3 chipset wouldnt lock onto any satallites until i downloaded the quickgpsfix update as tomtom suggested, i thought this had fixed it but one week after its the same no satellites unless i fire up tomtom home again and download another quickgpsfix. anyone else have this problem and looks like it will be every week...
Time to try my spare One XL:
DeviceName=TomTom ONE XL
DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL
DeviceSerialNumber=L9********
GPSChipset=GL1 int LNA
I knew I was wasting my time but I tried the new glgps file from NC 9.541 anyway...as suspected, the clock resets to 0:00
