I think that is normal
I think it is.
9.541 LE boots OK, even finds satellites, but when pushing the map to enter a destination, it hangs and reboots. Also, some interface elements (arrows and + and - buttons) are incorrectly displayed (just a square).
I did have the same and I'm back to 9.510 and replaced the glgps file in the bin folder
The info we have for chipsets is not always 100% correct.
Been checking a couple of my old XLs
One XL (V9) 30 series RM has GL2 chipset
One XL (V9) 30 series RB has GL1 chipset
These should both have GL2 chipsets according to the info we have so the guy earlier in this thread who had a one (v8) 30 series with GL1 it is very possible.
But before the Rollover GPS the quickgpsfix never updated
And no GPS signal problem,
Now if is necessary updated all 7 days is a big problem
I hope they appear one solution soon
i think pe1agp may have a point. For the devices that don't get the 9541 update by TomTom home.
May be the best solution for those devices is to install 9510 with the Charly fix. ( Replace the GLGPS file in the bin folder )
But mind you, another with the same One XL L1 version has still problems
Why ? Mine Chipset is a GL1 FFFF his is only GL
hi pe1agp @ koudhe,
I don't understand what you mean.
My experience, already mentioned in this forum "I tested new "glgps" file on One 3rd Edition (v6) first two digits of device are Y2, NC9510 and according overview "TT models.xls" (Specs listing by Willy647; #58) equiped with GPS-chipsetGlobal Locate v1 (device-HW readout: GL1 FFFF). Result negative … After ca. 2 min. time resets to 0:00!
It's quite simple, two the same devices, only the chipset differs, mine no problem at all while the other refuse to work.
