It is totally trustworthy and the contribution of the purchase partly repels profit for the community and thus be able to expand options in the investigation of gps systems.
I read.
I was thinking about the link to the auction, eg on Alliexpress, where I can buy a Samusng card with variable CID under Linux.
What is so special about the Samsung card from Alliexpress then?
You can use the Samsung change method only on a specific batch of old Samsung cards with certain model numbers. New Samsung cards don't have that vulnerability.
Other changeable Chinese cards sold on Ali use different controllers than Samsung and different from each other. Each SD card controller type requires a different (unpublished) code sent to it to put it into "manufacturer mode" and then send the low level commands to change attributes like the CID. There are many types of Chinese cards out there and each one requires a different software and some special hardware that allows the computer to see it as a card and not a generic USB storage device.
That is why both Marky and myself can send you a customized Chinese card. We both obtained the software and hardware needed to customize a specific Chinese vendor's cards and a big pile of those cards. But that means you will not likely be able to change it again after we do that initial change for you unless you also obtain the hardware and software, which is quite expensive.
So really you have three options:
1) find an original changeable Samsung card from Ebay and do the editing yourself on linux using the Samsung change method freely available. This way you can change and re-change it whenever you want.
2) buy a random changeable/customizable Chinese card from Ali and ask the vendor to program your CID, however they usually don't like to send just 1 card. They have minimum order quantity or (MOQ), and who knows about a warrantee.
3) buy a customized card from Marky1991 or myself. Marky1991 is very trustworthy and has done this service for several forum members here. Our rates are very fair and we both guarantee the card is programmed to your requirements. I am in the USA and Marky is in Europe so shipping times will be shorter from one of us depending on where you live. We both take PayPal and have plenty of forum members who can attest to the quality of the cards and that we deliver on our word.
Good luck. Hope that clears up some things. ☺
Exactly what CloneWars writes.
I was looking for an auction where I would buy a Samsung card with the possibility of changing the CID. An older batch that has a security vulnerability.
Then I do not need any special device. All you need is a laptop and a built-in reader.
I am asking CloneWars for the card price per PW.
Greetings.
With the guarantee that your fellow forum members give you in front of a Chinese you don't know, you don't know where he is, I wouldn't think about it anymore when it comes to getting a card.
Not all PCs have an integrated card reader that is not USB, in fact most of today's PCs are not that way.
I charge $12 USD for a 32GB (Chinese) card + $2 shipping almost anywhere around the world. I change the Cid to your request and then send you confirmation of success before accepting payment (through PayPal) and shipping the card.
I don't know which sellers on eBay to trust for Samsung cards, but I know others have been successful.
