Iceland does for higher Nav units and Android, but there is Taiwan and India maps too. e.g. Reykjavík Höfuðborgarsvæði, ISL. can do a route from there to Vörðubrún 3, Reykjanesbær, ISL if you hire a car or van Actually, if you have time. You could use Road #1 ans see a lot of Iceland. Plenty of hotels to stay in too, as many schools are hotels in the summer time too. Really friendly people, worth seeing.
ps Read Desmond Bagley - Running Blind from 1970. Is a novel, but a lot of locations was true. My dad knew him well. He died in 1983 and his wife finished off his last book. Pretty pour, you can almost tell where she took over to publish in 85. He was a sad loss as a friend to our family. And yes I have been to Iceland, but it is different from back thenOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. Whatwe all are failing is the really bsic reason we are all here. It is because we all support TomTom.
The other thing to note is that since we all started, things have movever on. A lot really.
I was with TomTom before they were TomTom, but had on Psion 5 City Maps and Town maps, and I used a Garmin GPS to have a link
Thinks have moved on. Apple got a crap phone that peapole bought and still do. Nokia had a great one with better maps.
TomTom bought the wrong map company
but they had the best route planners. THEY STILL HAVE
I could buy almost any gps UNit there is, but I have a TomTom Go 5200. I have GPS in my car and my previous on too. I would not trust them......I do not work for TomTom, but really they are the bestOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. There is one more thing I will add. Again, I have no ties to TomTom at all, but why do you not buy the live units with traffic? It is not expensive, and it really is better than the competition

GO5100,GO5200, GO6100 and GO6200
There was recently a software upgrade. I do not know what it was for, and I have not noticed any changes. It may be a change to allow larger SDXC memory cards, but I do not know. I do know it will not support 128GB, but nor will my 4K dash cam, but that stated only up to 64SDHC (Never come across a one, but 64SDXC and the dash cam will allow 128GB SHXC. Anyone tried using bigger than 32GB SHHC ?

If you have a new or newish unit and live map updates etc. Do NOR LELET the other ones to make space for the new updated ones. Keep them how they are and the download takes a lot less time than loading them from scatch. Two identical GO 5200 units with same maps on each. Each have a 32GB SDNC card on them with most maps. One I deleted all but one small map Come the download, TT sees you have current mape and downloades them all, the other delelets, then needs to re install the maps. It takes forever. So let TT upgrade the maps, DO NOT delete then first, then down load them. It will take hours So keep maps on, but let TT update. Delete the older ones, and update, will take hours Saddly even with the latest software up date, better let TT update and not yourself

The last update in mid-May may well be an improvement in assistance for the planned route.
Indeed, I noticed innovations in the display of the courses, for example, when I programmed a destination, my GO 6200 took me to the destination without saying a word, only when I crossed a radar.
If, because of a traffic jam for example, he recalculated the route to propose a new route with load shedding, he did not inform me verbally, I had to manage to keep a constant eye on the screen to monitor it and follow his advice.
Since this update, things have changed, GO attracts my attention by two double beeps, shows me the initial route complet in blue (normal for me in blue) + the course of load shedding in green.
At the same time, on a banner on the right, He informs me of the time saved and asks me to touch yes or no if I accept or not the change.
After a handful of seconds if I have not answered, it resumes guidance with the initial route.
A welcome improvement, perhaps still to be perfected.

I just got an offer of TT 30% discount for the replacement of my Go 720 by a GO 5200. € 231 instead of € 330. I wonder if it's worth it. Since I update my Go 720 with the latest maps v1010. What will bring me GO 5200 and more?
Reassure me, the latest v1010 maps uploaded here are the same as the maps on the GO 5200? Isn't it?

1. Remember you/we cannot crack these newer devices so you'll need a lifetime (lifetime determined by TT, not real lifetime of your or the device) subscription or buy maps/speedcams etc
2. the map coverage/detail will be the same.
3. TT's discounts are vever generous, check out the internet for better deals/prices.
4. if it ain't broke, don't fix it. We're good for another couple of years yet with many maps for these "old" but way better NAV2's.Please do not just post "thanks" but use the "thanks" button bottom/right or the reputation star "*" bottom/leftS i m p l e s
