Odd findings with new 970/971 map releases
I think the 971_7520 are the Low-Level-maps and the 971_7518 (cphoneme.dat, housenrs.dat, cspeech_*.dat) are High-Level-maps.

So what are TomTom up to?
UK & ROI 970.7466 which is the high level map with cspeech.dat files contained within....Ok, understand that
Australia 970.7466 which appears to be a low level map with NO cspeech.dat files....Huh?
So we have the same map number but with different features?
As Alfred_ML correctly points out: Australia 971.7518 appears to be a high level map as it DOES contain cspeech.dat etc files
How is Orni going to update the chart with that mess?

Cspeech_*.dat and cphoneme.dat alone are not a indiz of a high-level-map. But in combination with a housenrs.dat.
And it seems, the Australia_970_7466 is realy not a High-level-map . The good dutch weed...

Agreed, they must be on something as I thought the 965/966 series was messed up but this release is even worse.
Purely a rhetorical question: how is Orni going to compile a chart when UK & ROI and Australia both have the same number (970.7466) but have completely different features to each other?

Australia 970.7466 and 970.7467 are the same map. It's the Carminat version (PNA file shows 7467).
There have been an error at some point ...

Well spotted ttmax...just checked it myself and you're dead right, they are the same.
As you say, TomTom have made a mistake somewhere and it's been released into the wild.
So if there is no official Australia 970.7466 map at all, it would make good sense for the uploaders/staff to remove these map posts to save a lot of confusion later on and save Orni's head from exploding...lol
I hope that's the only one....
