There is one hugh benefit in using TomTom over other products. That is real time traffic and routes. Others suggest it, but here Tomtom really excels more than the others. I was driving in convoy with a fried. I said turn left now or you will get stuck in a delay. I followed TT advise, he did not, using his unit did not say. he was in the delay before he knew. 30 mins wait in traffic. I had arrived, done my job and was leaving before he arrived. I did 4 more drops and he only one more. Time is money. We both had the same drops, but different things

Tomtom live beats the rest, even though I slag them for some of the maps. and shitty customer service. As bad or worse than Apple for that. Apple ok, but I would not buy a phone, Microsoft either. I stick with Unix variants. much better.

But I am biassed.
