    ttgo.bif:
    DeviceName=TomTom GO LIVE
    DeviceVersionHW=GO 950 LIVE
    DeviceSerialNumber=W1xxxxxxxxxx
    BootLoaderVersion=55259
    ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9510
    ApplicationVersion=1234792.1
    CurrentMap=USA_Canada_950_6492
    CurrentMapVersion=950.6492

    In compatibility chart, i assumed i have 9.5xx, correct?

    Now, finding latest map (Europe + North America)
    North America 2GB does not exist anymore so i went for USA_Canada, correct?

    So finding the right version, after downloading 3 maps for nothing, i found a post by you biggerdave saying 950_6492 is the current map (europe).

    But why not 950_6544 ( wich is not in the chart so i guess its same as 6545, correct? ) ?

    6544 > 6492 so far better, correct?
    Is it because of the 3 res X in the yellow features row?

    OK, step by step.
    1. Your're correct re 9.5xx and as you have the latest/current/correct navcore/application 9.510 you can run any map (we have a meta for)

    I think in understood something in the version numbering reading the thread finder. Correct me if im wrong.

    In the numbering xxx_yyyy

    The important part, the "version" of the map is really xxx, regardless of the rest.

    The yyyy, is for the device itself, and the support of functionality. Nothing more up to date (new roads, etc).

    Sorry im a dev, and numbering is a bit different sometime

    950 (or the rare 951) is the latest map releases (every 3 months) and the _ 6492 etc shows which device(s) it was for and what it includes like ASR/IQ routes etc

    PS 950.6492 IS the version you should really be going for whenever possible with that device/navcore as it has everything possible incl

    so....yes you're correct
