Agreed, this SUMMER2018 gives you 30% discount on a single map, 40% discount on a 12 month subscription and a massive 70% discount on the 18 month subscription!!!
THE PERFECT TIME TO BUY 18 MONTHS before they pull the plug on the next batch of NAV2's (probably later this year)!
I'd love to try and help out, but as I run a go 700 that thinks its a 940 (SE NC 9.051) any attempts to "update" through Home simply gets me told I'm not supported, so I have to rely on the good will of folks here.
I know that eventually there will be no-one purchasing/providing metas for the maps I want, as more and more folk hit the same problem of "End of life" statements from TT, at which point I'll probably buy a cheap android phone and use the cracked version on that to navigate by. In the mean time, I wait patiently in the hope that, eventually, the metas I need appear, they always seem to turn up after a while .. it's just that the "while" is slowly getting longer !!
I'm just grateful to the folks, and this forum, who have kept my original Go 700 runing well on up-to-date maps for much longer than I expected. Friends who borrow my spare are also impressed when I loan them a system with the latest maps for wherever they happen to be going on holiday.... next loan out is another Australia / New Zealand visit ... :)
It's a shame that the forum can acquire all the maps exceedingly quickly, but because TT are not supporting older devices there are fewer and fewer ways to get the metas needed to activate them. I just wish I knew an answer, but, being thick, I don't .. :(
I bought Benelux with 18 months update for € 16,48
Meta-code already added in tread for meta-codes
Greetings
Peter
Be aware that TT have already reduced the SUMMER2018 discount from the too-good-to-be-true 70% down to a more realistic 40% for the 18 month deal (for how long nobody knows)
They are also promoting at 20% discount the GO6200. Which is a great device, but the 5200 is same but with 5" screen as opposed to 6". You could opt for the WiFi versions whish I have, but if you have a PC handy, there is really no need. A little cheaper at Ha*ford* but not much
AMAZING SUMMER SAVINGS DON'T MISS 20% OFF
Enjoy the ride with the GO 6200, know what's ahead with real time traffic via the built-in SIM card – right on time for the holidays. Plus, shop now and receive car hire and hotel vouchers worth up to £300.
GO 6200 £339.99 £271.99
Having posted that, pretty sure could get cheaper elsewhere
Here in the Netherlands if you have a Tomtom Device older then 2years you can call tomtom and ask for the 25% discount because you have a tomtom from 2 years or older.
