Android hiccup ...
Been using the android tom tom w.europe app for a while now without any problems.. until last night ... the phone did an OTA update to Android 4.4.2 and now the tom tom keeps trying to connect to a server ... just won't run ..
I've deleted it in toto and re-installed .. no difference .. still keeps trying to connect..
now downloading a different version ..
anyone know if this will sort the problem ?? or has the "fix" been "un-fixed" !!Entwood Reviewed by Entwood on . Android hiccup ... usually the point is WHERE you install
sometimes it must be on internal sometimes it must be on external
not easy to say which , it differs per Android version
just uninstall , move Tomtom folder and APK to the other card and try again

Thanks for that .. downloaded the newer version, placed it in the same place as the old ... no worky ..
did as you suggest and moved the folder and the APK to the phone instead of the SD card .. and it worky fine ..
Strange how the update has changed the requirement of where it has to sit !! but it works .. thats the important bit !!
Thanks again

Using LG G2 here so has to be internal as no memory slot. Once installed you can use App2SD to move it though? I did that way with HTC One V. This is using Europe with Kitkat 4.4.2 on LG and older version on HTC. If just in UK or Romania, I use the smaller regional cracked versions by moving the data via USB OTG to 64GB microSDXC. I need to experiment a bit further as I subscribe to Traffic and speed cams from Europe map. Should be so much easier when she moves here at end of month. It maybe that many of the KitKat phones do not have external memory slot, except the newer G3 for example, so we choose at the outset 16GB or 32GB. This might be why.
