    I have no first Mazda, if you want you can try this;

I put him in the download content, 10.852.1472547_ECR9.6-CAB-Fuji.cab, ttn patched and ttn_ORI
I've patched the ttn that is within the ttsystem, being an upgrade if you already have installed navcore 10.852.1472547,
it will be difficult to install because your car does not vera as an update, since when installed appears to be
Some files are installed in internal memory,
you can test, put a new SD in the car to see if the firm with TTHome put this new SD and signed by your car if you do the upgrade
would then copy the contents of my Mazda_10.852.1472547_ECR9.6 download and overwrite the SD.
this system to Carminat seems like, you can try if this, remove the loopdir folder to see if the load recreate the new ttsytem ttn.
hope quote, as I said earlier I have not Mazda.

Thanks all. I've been trying to follow the thread, but have been a bit busy this weekend to reply. Will try simba's 852 from dropbox tonight. Just having a ttsystem on the root of the card forces an update when the card is inserted in the car, even to the same version. Another point is I can use the original card, the only thing I want to be able to do is use maps and speed camera files from this site. Unless it would be easier to use another card. I suppose that would be the full thing so I'll buy a card to use.

I don't understand the significance of the 'loopdir' folder - is there an explanation somewhere or can someone enlighten me?

I don't think you can "use maps and speed camera files from this site". see why I think that in my post 15 above

Well all. Good news. It worked using simba's patched Mazda.7z.

Specifically, this is the procedure I followed:-

    1) I bought a SDHC 8GB card and placed it in the Mazda.
    2) The TomTom in the car displayed an error saying there are no maps on this card etc. However, some files are written to the card - it's important to not skip this step.
    3) I brought the card into my PC and copied over the ttsystem from the Mazda.7z that Simba had patched.
    4) I noted that the system in the Mazda had already created a TTHome.bif, loopdir directory and statdata directory.
    5) In TTHOME I opened System Information from the Help Menu and chose "Copy to Clipboard". I pasted the contents of TTGO.BIF exactly as stated in the System Information window into a TTGO.BIF file and saved it in the root of the card.
    6) I copied all the other normal directories from my TTHOME backup directory except the loopdir and statdata directories as there were already ones on the card.
    7) I copied my recent Australia map (without the proper licensed DCT file) and the latest Safety_Cam_AU_TomTom into the maps directory.
    8) I ran FastActivate and ensured my Meta.txt was up-to-date then chose option 2) Update Maps, POIs , SafetyCams etc. which generated DCT files for the Australia map and the SafetyCams
    9) Inserted the SD Card in the Mazda, and waited for the system to update itself with the patched ttsystem from Simba. You are allowed to update to the same version number.
    10) Switched off and on ignition
    11) System starts up, the map is loaded and so are the Safety Cams.

The question is "Did simba do anything special that the usual patchers don't normally do?"

I think "Yes" ! the Tools are want Patch the TTsystem or Pndnavigator . this must be so that the device accepts different ( non buyed ) maps. How Simba found and patch the TTn is his secret

Thanks for commenting, I'm glad happy result.
    my language is Spanish, translate google, do not quite understand you mean;
The question is "Did simba do anything special that the usual patchers don't normally do?"
    if what he says Schwan
this is very complex ttsystem could have another name not like the others, is composed of several layers, different packaging and file permissions.
Carminat already in intenete not work (possibly repackaging or some permission) that any user would want Carminat work, my time is limited and I do the whole process manually if I'm wrong in any of the steps do not work.
    Greetings.

Thanks Simba. It sounds like it is a complex process to patch this ttsystem. What I was trying to understand was if I had made a mistake using the usual tools or did you have to do a special process to make it work. I think the answer is "special process". The Mazda system is very similar to the Carminat one, so some of the steps would be similar, and if people are reading threads about either system they will learn about both....For example on the copied card, another (older) Speed Cam file I have with .MCT extension doesn't work but I understand why from some Carminat threads because the SD Card ID is different.....

This solution was help me too. Thanks a lot.
But I did a mistake after everything was great. I did an update my Mazda NB1 navi with the new NC 10.854. I thought that I've been patched correctly. But I was wrong. After updating device does not want to use patched maps. Then i was trying to rollback last update with the correctly patched NC 10.852 but had no luck.

@Simba is it any chance to patch 10.854 NC correctly, like you did it for 10.852? Please, need your help very bad.

    With best regards.

First I'd just like to say that I'm new here and noob in all this. I'm a proud owner of mazda 6 and a not so proud owner of the navigation system that comes with it
I'm trying to get some fresh maps (for Europe) and also to switch to a bigger and faster SD card. I'm googling this forum and few other ones for 3 days now, and I'm still missing some basic knowledge I guess so excuse my noobness

I have tried already what Alan111S wrote in post #24, but after step 1, I don't get any files on a empty formatted SD card. So that's the first problem.

Still I tried to continue, I have copied the files from backup of the "original" SD card, copied the maps, written TTGO.BIF, copied ttystem that simba has provided here, ran FastActivate.exe, I got the proper dtc file.
When I take the card to the car, put in the slot and switch on, it takes 5-6 minutes to do the update and when it's all done it just says:
    Problem with map
You cannot use this map on this device: Europe-100198

I have tried 4 times already (each time with small changes in the procedure) and I'm getting nowhere

My main question is:What am I doing wrong?

I also have some more questions, or sub-questions:
    1. Do I just need to give contact every time, or do I also have to switch the engine on (I mean so that the engine is running)? In the instructions it says not to switch the engine on, but better to check how did other people do it...
    2. When it says on the device that the app is 10.852.1472547.542, that means that this is Navcore version 10.852?
    3. The map I used is Europe 940.5963. IFAIK it's compatabile with navcore 10.852. Still, in which folder of the SD card should this be copied to? Should everything go just in folder Europe?
    4. What is important to put in TTGO.BIF? I see that there is SDCardId=xxxx..., so does this mean that I should find out the unique ID of the SD card and put it here?
    5. When the whole procedure failed, when I took the card back to the PC I noticed that ttsystem is missing. Is this normal?

Again, sorry for the longer post and all the questions. Honestly I've been trying to find all this out (and still am and still will) but I couldn't pick up on a thread or link where there is concise info for the noobs.

    Thanks to all in advance!

    Regards

if you already have the original isntalado NavCore 10,852 and 10,852 patched is also not give you the option to upgrade would have to be a superior NavCore patched to use maps forum.
    greetings.
