Default TomTom Rider2 No Map Shown

    I have a TT Rider2 running navcore 7.901

The original Europe_West map updated on TomTom Home to 880.3811 and is available on the device and through Home

    I have patched ttsystem

When I add a cracked UK map it does not appear. I have used the correct maps and also earlier UK maps that I know work (obviously recracked for the device code.

So what am I doing wrong?

Is there something special about the Rider2 navcore?

Any comments would be most welcome.

I have been activating tt maps for many years and this is the first interesting problem.

Assuming you're using a map that's compatible with your 7.901 navcore then just try to copy your ttgo.bif & a copy of the latest FastActivate stright to your new map folder & run from there.

Why not to take the step to Navcore 9.500, upgrade your Bootloader to at least 5.5128 work realy good with the Scala headset and you're able to use up till 32GB SDHC cards.
Next advantage is that you may use any map with a valid meta code.

running Fastactivate from the root of the device worked like a dream

previously used Easyusetools. So what would be the difference out of interest

Big thanks for the quick response

Just one of those weird things which sometimes happens with F/A

I was a staunch & loyal supporter of TTuser and his Easytools for many, many years but even I'm converted to F/A which, after all, does it all-in-one unlike any other tool out there.
