Please help. I have TomTom Europe 930.5563 Maps and had been using cracked APK v1.3_1346922. This was installed on the SD Card and working perfectly on Jelly Bean.

Today, I have updated to KitKat and everything seems to work except TomTom. I get a message "Unable to connect to TomTom. Try again later."

I was aware that KitKat doesn't like external storage and so moved my entire TomTom folder from the SD card onto the internal storage, uninstalled the apk and then reinstalled the APK from the internal storage. I continued to get the same message.

Thinking it may be the APK, I downloaded a cracked 1.3.2 APK, uninstalled the old version and installed the new. Same message. I have rerun fastactivate just in case.

My folder structure is \Internal Storage\tomtom\com.tomtom.europe\files\Europe 930.5563 and I am installing the APK from the root of the internal storage. The other TomTom folders are all off the files folder.

What am I doing wrong and how do I get the maps to work?

OK. Finally got it to work. The maps were in the right place but I had to edit the .metadata.xml file to point to file://internal storage/tomtom/com.tomtom.Europe and install the 1.3.2 APK from root of the internal storage.
