@matheas, correct. There "was" a post #151 but I deleted it as rubbish but unfortunately it still showed that there was one BUT now you have posted, the trashed/deleted one has now gone/disappeared etc.
New version again: 2.21.17.420385
Has anybody had the following errors when launching TT Home. (latest version)
"Error Invoking Method" and "Failed to Launch JVM".
I tried Uninstalling and Installing again but this didn't work.
Sorry but all opens cleanly for me. I wonder WTF "JVM" is?
Googled it and it's Java Virtual Machine. Somebody else had this error on google search but no solution was found. TT Home opens ok on my wife's laptop.
Here I am not bothered by TomTom Home at all, I am even offered a nice discount if I buy a new device
I have Java installed on my device so that error is difficult to occur. I have an old version of TTHome installed to be able to use the "use my Go" option.
The installed version is "v2_9_93_432_win.exe" which is the last one that does not limit EOL devices. It is a 32 bit version. My advice is to uninstall your TTHome program and reinstall again.
If you want to use an old version, you must trick TThome into thinking that you have a higher version than the one you put. To deceive TThome you must modify that file that I indicate in the marked path, if it is 32 Bit.

You must copy the file to the desktop for example.
Edit the line:
With a number higher than the most current version, putting a four in place of the initial number two would be sufficient.
Close and save the changes.
Paste the file back to the original location "C:\Program Files (x86)\TomTom HOME 2\xul" overwriting the mentioned file.
If you want to use the version I mention you can download
If you install the previous version, you must edit the "application.ini" file without opening the installed program, so uncheck the boxes in the installation that open the program.
But now a new file has to be retrieved and that download ends in an error.
Do you have any idea what file I should look for, please.
