The problem is I see hundreds of connections with my server that have not retrieved an update directly from post # 1
Once they have done that, all the urls that are in it must be good again
I think it's too early to go EOL with FastActivate, it is more certain to bet on two horses?

But I'm still wondering why there is not made a modification yet to the updated_meta.txt and changed it to meta.txt

Whist I applaud all the effort going into this "Fast Activate" software .. I know nowt about it as I've never used it ...
I use the alternative option .. "Easytools" and have no problems activating maps/speed cameras/voices etc etc ... perhaps those having problems with "Fast Activate" could try that alternative ??

Both tools use the same simple patch tools, they are only brought together in a tool.
But yes, the one likes the daughter and the other the mother

There is already an option on your device to record deviating things and later to rappotage to TomTom

This is purely for comments, and not help needed. Several version ago I bricked my GO5200 and despite all actions, it was no good. I spoke to TT and since it was early version, would require a £86 payment for repair or replacement and would take about 14 days or more. I did not manage to get the correct UPS link to send back, not a bill. Probabably as I have quite a few accounts.
Bottom line is I bought a replacement from eBAY where the guy stated, it would not update properly, so was cheap. I bought it, and fixed within a few minutes.
All was fine, and it is a pristine unit, that had a really old version of a UK Map and nothing else, so obviously never used (hence cheap)
Go it running the latest versions and maps with an added 32GB card to cover the world, even updated software.
All fine, then the next map update, worked fine and all running smoothly, but took ages to update the maps, a little over a day and a half, so not good if you need the unit, most of the time.
Well, I thought I would have a look as my old bricked unit and wow, it came to life, and so I brought that up to date as well.
Now whowing it takes a long time to fully update a unit when all maps are installed, there is any easy solution.
Update the new unit with just usual map update, and then, update the older unit and leave until fully completed. swap over the SD Card from the older unit to the new one and all needed then is the software update and the few maps on unit.
One unit only have local map and small ones. Leave the rest to the card. If the internal maps are same on both units, the cards are interchageble luckily. Do not try to copy one card to other as will not work (I have tried, it does not work)
Will hold 64GB maps, but only 32GB cards let you move between maps correctly 64GB does not
As I said this is for info only,
NickOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.

Today I made my updates to the new map, before starting the updates I received this message.
So the new map is prepared for the new period.
"From the middle of March 2020, the maximum speed limit on motorways of all the Netherlands will be reduced
to 100 km / h between 6:00 and 19: 00.
Map update with new speed limits is now available. Update your device and get ready to go."
