I think it's just a typo by fat-fingered or numerically "dislectric" Hamish and he meant "Europe 990_8306" and I guess F/A just reports first part of pna "Europe-115706" rather than the full "Europe-1157062304" or just another typo

No talk politics to me, i had to be not one way or the other in my line of things. Yes I am back to normal externally, not brainwise though. All burns fully healed. Last scab was 10th May. gone now TMI I know. See you Jimmy. Always welcome. Its what we are here for anyway. I am not a southern jessie, but a northern hard knock
Hi,
I just successfully patched and updated my Mazda NB1 with a new map. Living in Australia, I had two choices. The 8643 High Level map "with all features" and then a 8644 "low level" with much smaller download size.
I picked the 8643 assuming this would be "the best" map and include the most.
I've been using it a few days now and noticed that the GPS doesn't know a lot of local suburbs, finding the right place is more luck than straight forward and voice navigation became a hassle instead of useful. We're talking suburbs in a major city, not like out nowhere.
I am wondering now, was the 8643 map not the right choice? Is there an auszralia map version that has more details and "understands" local roads and suburbs better?
What's the real difference between high level and low level maps? Which to use? (I've seen the nice chart but I lack the experience to read the details I need there.)
Guidance is appreciated! Thank you!!
