I installed the 2 apps together, no problem.
Hi,
Finally I got success installing this app and make it work (together with TomTom GO) :em:
I first installed the app from the SD card, then when I launched it, I got "loading maps" then "a problem blocks the application" displayed and everything remains frozen.
I copied the obb file in /SDCard/Android/ obb/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds ... same problem:bang:
So, I copied the obb file in Phone/Android/obb/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds ... It works just fine :ay::bp:
Unfortunately all Middle East countries maps are available in Asia, except the Israel map. weird :ah::be:
I dont like it.
The traffic information graphics is much worse than the go.
Very slow app.
I have not seen changes in the graphics either, but what I have observed is that the voices are expressed more naturally than in Go
The scrolling is much slower.
The traffic critical points are displayed a very little points, so you dont figure out immediately the size of the jams. (it is much better in the Go).
The junction lane view, however has been improved. Now you see a dynamic 3d view, rather than a static scheme.
I appreciated a lot the possibiliy to donwload the maps with reduced side.
Stil the same problems with the 3d party pois: PLEASE COME BACK TO NAV2 system for this aspect
I get your point with traffic display on the map, but that's not the map you see when navigating. But you have a point there. It could be improved.
Junction view though is, in my opinion, crap. On Go it is much better. Note my phone is in Landscape mode when navigating, not portrait, maybe that makes a difference. But I would like a "Go"-like junction view in this NDS-app.
Another plus in the NDS-app is that the algoritm is better and therefore route calculating is better. More logical route then on Go.
