Unless anything has dramatically changed (which I doubt) then there is still no way of cracking/patching/activating pirate maps etc on Carminat LIVE devices

I don't think a R-Link evolution is a Tomtom Carminat Live. It is a Tomtom R-Link1. Then, you can use CID changing SD.

where can i find a tutorial to download the maps and install them on a sc card changing its CID?

There are some tutorial for changing CID, do a search in the internet. You need Linux.
