It seems that I have yet another issue with the medianav. I dont know if its supermodd related or not. The microphone works... whenever it wants.

In the morning I have a call. Everything is ok. In the evening I have a call, all ok. Very late in the night (right now) I have a call and the other person can barelly hear me.

I dont know what to change or modify in micon config. I tried mic internal (this one doesnt work at all EVER). Mic External is the only one that works.

The microphone "works" but its like if I am in another room for the other person, like if I'm talking from very far away.

I've looked online and I've found nothing about how to fix it. Maybe you could help me out? Thanks!!!

(No, its not the first time it happens. Sometimes it works perfectly and others very bad)

Edit: This issue never happened when I was in SuperMod v2, only when I started messing arround with Supermod 4.1... Maybe there is something in the config related to the microphone that causes an issue.

Be careful, do not blame something which you don't know how it's running.
It's very simple test. Uninstall it and check. Install the old one and check if "improves" something.
If you play in units settings is not fault of running programs because you done something wrong.
If you have microphone in the ceil near the lamp, that it's external. Very few units have microphone internal.
Maybe is pairing problem with your phone. Did you check it compatibility with MediaNav on Renault site?

If you have DBoot and only nngnavi modified should not be problem install over.
But if you have more or another patch, better reinstall original system fresh, clean the system and then is safe for install Super Mod.

    Good luck

You would not belive what the issue with the medianav microphone was...

In settings/audio, where you can change how loud everything is, you press "Reset" button down below and then put NAVI to "3" and everything works great again (NAVI is like the speedcam alerts).
I just put everything to "3" except for phone, I set that to "20".

Once you do that, everything works great again, definitelly a 9.1.3 or MediaNav Evolution bug.

Nevertheless, you could take a look at the issue. At least, now it works correctly.

I still belive that SuperMod would be perfect if you were able to hide the access icon to a secondary menu, like settings or "ECO". The idea is to make it seem 100% unmodified without the need to unninstall SuperMod for a Renault revision of the vehicle.

Since I know NOTHING about coding on the medianav or the supermod or WOLFQUICKICON, i can just hope for someone who actually knows to do it for me U.U

Thanks once more for your patience!!!

Hi Neek, thanks so much for your tutorial.
I have a 4.0.6 medianav and after reading your post, it is not clear to me if to install supermod, I have to include in the USB the download of the two links that I mark in the image.
Thank you very much and greetings.

For install you need 2 only and at end delete it.
For run well all options you need 1 to have it unzipped on USB.
So, if you want you can unzip both archives on USB from beggining and there will not be any problem.

    Hi all,
I bought a Renault Stepway 2013, and found that it had a super old vesion of MediaNav: 1.1.6
I installed SuperMod from 4.0ª Revision Super Mod Standard EN.zip, but when it starts it displays the message: "there is no unlock for this version of medianav".
    What does that mean?
Is there anyway I can go from 1.1.6 to some newer versions?
    Thank you,
    Catalin

When you take sonething do you read also about it, what conditions you need to fullfil?
In my post I wrote that Super Mod start works with firmwares 4.0.3 if I remember well.
Moreover I recomend always make backup first. For sure you didn't do it because under 4.0.3 no one utility is not running.
You are in one way still lucky, because Super Mod is uninstalling itself without anything additional.
Uninstall it and upgrade the firmware to 4.1.0 directly.
After that install again Super Mod and you will se running well.
Use a very good USB max 32GB which MUST be formated fresh before write on it for install. I recomend as brand good SanDisk. If you have trouble with USB during upgrade you brick the unit.
Your unit is very old and sensitive.

    Good luck
