Interesting -- the activation key does not seem to work for v118. Has anyone else seen that?

It works probely. Maybe you have done it wrong.

What country did you do it for? I have done it many times in the past and this is the first time it is failing for me. I suspect something has changed.
Worked for me: you need to remove any other USB drive from the car while doing the upgrade! The presence of my USB drive with music files prevented the activation key from being validated. Seems like a SMEG bug but good to know about it.

Check the readme file:

- RT6 : use "CCT.DAT.inf" on the root
- SMEG: "SMEG_UPG\DATA\CCT.DAT.inf"
- SMEG+: "SMEG_PLUS_UPG\DATA\CCT.DAT.inf"
- SMEG+i V2: "SMEG_IV2_UPG\DATA\CCT.DAT.inf"
