M054 i did copy all data from mega link and it says:
Activation - Europe has been successfuly activated
and then
Map data has been installed WITHOUT available unlock code ????
Any fix for this??

Did you "device.xml" and "device.xmlt" assigned as "read only"???

Yes of course i did and checked twice.
any other advice?

until now i use V22.1 (Q4/2021) version and it is working perfectly.
When i tried the 2023 V23 (in the link)

i checked again "device.xml" and "device.xmlt" assigned as "read only" AFTER unplug M054 from computer and the file device.xml did not have read only assigment??
I tried few more times to check read only box but every time i unplug it from computer i go blank.
Any suggestion??

p.s.when i roll back my backup V22.1 everything works exelent ("device.xml" and "device.xmlt" stays checked)

Afret mark Read only reatach module from your PC and not conect to PC again to check is it read only or not. Every time when atach to PC it will not be read only any more. Its normal.

The newer models have 8GB of storage, whereas the older ones have 4GB, I don't think this is a problem in itself but I don't think you can fit all the current Europe map package on the 4GB model without having to be a bit more selective. Again, I don't think this is a problem in itself but my in my mind, it was better to therefore go for a newer 8GB model.
