Salut kunal2012, sur la carte sd il doit y avoir que le fichier Garmin et le fichier manuel utilisation... le fichier CID c'est un fichier ou il y a une série de numéro, que tu dois crypter sur une carte sd mais pour cela tu a besoin d'une carte sd ou le cid est modifiable et on n'en trouve nul part pratiquement... moi perso je commande directement une carte sd et je leur donne le cid à copier sur la carte sd ( quand je dis copier je parle d'un cryptage). pour que la carte sd soit reconnu comme une carte sd Mercedes.

par contre moi j'ai une version V17 2021-2022.... et la V15 et une version 2020-2021

Non faut pas copier le fichier CID, il faut que tu commandes une carte sd moi je les achètes sur :

prend un modèle 32GO et dans la personnalisation tu leur donne le numéro cid une fois que tu recevras la carte sd chez toi, tu n'auras plus cas insérer le fichier manuel et le fichier Garmin et ensuite bingo le GPS fonctionnera chez toi.

Thank you fred1 for your patience and helping me. I am able to understand this now. I have to order a new SD card who can write the CID on the SD card and send it to me. Once I have received the SD card with the CID, I can copy the files downloaded and start using the SD card in GPS.

Here is how to change CID on SD
1 - Card EVO/EVO+ (I tried 32G and 64G SD) older then summer 2016.
2 - Format card in Windows (by Guiformat.exe utility)
3 - Start Laptop from boot flash Ubuntu (previously created in PC by LiLi USB Creator)
4 - Copy file mmc and mmc32 to Desktop
5 - Right cick -> open terminal, then go to the Desktop folder ( by command "cd Desktop" )
6 - Make command execution rights by command "chmod 777 mmc32" and "chmod 777 mmc"
7 - Insert the SD in slot. Terminal command "df" and verify the name card.

Somewhere down everything must occur "mmcblk0" + p + a number.
The suffix p "number" is the partition on the card, we are not interested, just use "mmcblk0".
When you do not see anywhere mmcblk0,
you must try different Laptop with on matherboard integrated cardreader.

Now you can read the original CID by command "cat / sys / block / mmcblk0 / device / cid"

8 - change CID by terminal command:
"sudo ./mmc32 prog_cid / dev / mmcblk0 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
or
"sudo ./mmc prog_cid / dev / mmcblk0 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx=CID

Writing new CID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Success! Remove and Reinsert SD card to check new CID.

If you do not see messages about success, remove and reinsert SD card
and check CID by command "cat /sys/block/mmcblk0/device/cid"

Now will be displaying the new CID xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
You should see xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx line.
The last two characters may be different, for example, be 69.
If CID changed besides the last two numbers, so it's okay.
On the last two numbers does not matter,
it's just a checksum, which generates SD card itself.

If the CID unchanged try again command for changing, remove and reinsert SD card
and check CID by command "cat /sys/block/mmcblk0/device/cid"

If not change, try the same command, but with different bit version of mmc,
remove and reinsert SD card
and check CID by command "cat /sys/block/mmcblk0/device/cid"

If not change, you must use a different EVO
