I have an old Nuvi that I've been updating for years and for some reason the TMZ file that displays the time has gotten corrupted. Is there any possibility someone could point me to just that one file?
I'm sure you don't mean TMZ the tabloid news company, may be
TZM?
What device ?
Why do you say it is corrupted ?

The model was an old Nuvi. I say was, because I don't have it anymore. In 2012 I got a car & installed a GPS aftermarket in it from NAV-TV. It came with pre-loaded Garmin maps that I've been updating (from here) ever since. I create my maps, put them on a laptop, and then transfer to the car. Works great, even though technology has come a long way since then.
Anyway, the TMZ issue has to do with the time that is displayed. For some reason it's always 1 hour off. I can change it manually to display the right time, but then the arrival/calculation is off by an hour. So no matter what I do, one of the 2 time functions is always an hour off. Either the current time, or the calculated time.
I realize, in the whole scope of things -- not a big issue. But we'll try your file and see what happens. Thanks for it.

Hi all,
I have received an older Nuvi 550 still in good shape and updated maps/software etc. The only thing is that the TIME (AMSTERDAM setting) is always one hour later than real time. Whatever I do it is always ione hour later. Is this a bug or can it be fixed? Thxs
Did you update TimeZone map to the actual version?
No,,,,not working...still an hour ahead....(actual time + 1 hour)...Only thing I can do is turn off auto time.
