Garmin split the JCV into two files, D9675040A.JCV (440 MB) and D9676040A.JCV (45.5 MB).
Both files are in a folder called "JCV".

@Garmin_nuvi : It looks like the North America 2024 map is including Haiti (which I have included in the Caribbean), but you don't mention it in your maps ... ?

I again disagree with your stated SQLite files, 2 of them have a size I've never seen in a North America map. When I performed an update on my nuvi 3597 LMTHD for the previous North America 2022.20 I got

D4943280A.db
D4955280A.db
D9663010A.db
D9664010A.db

Which is consistent with 2 files for US and 2 files for Canada - Mexico.

You got only one correct D4955280A.db (if I remember). This time you got 2 correct :

D9663030A.db
D9664030A.db

which are + 020 on the previous map. However you still miss the D4943 & D4955 update. Since I don't have at hand the US GPS I cannot tell exactly their name. I will get again this GPS mid March.

Not sure why you disagree, and I only share what I download from the devices I have at hand, some cover many countries so have global SQLite files like D6022140A.db (CLC Database File - Worldwide CLC v14).
Members just need to ask for what they would like and for what device and we'll see if we have that device.

Next time you have your US GPS in your hand make a back up so you can access it from anywhere and use the Clone method to get files your are talking about.

Thanks for letting us know, Garmin didn't publish they had included Haiti in the coverage of the Caribbean in this version.

I imagine that Haiti harbors no interest for anyone to visit, given the level of violence, kidnaping, ransom extorsion, and extended poverty, in turn Garmin has nothing to gain from advertsing this map. It has been made available maybe only to help the local government and outside parties helping it.

As for the SQLite files. Maybe as you infers it, your files are a combo of the many maps linked to your GPS unit(s). In my case I have separate GPS units for Europe and North America.

As I said if a member asks for a specific file it helps if you say for what device it is for.
I have multiple North America units backed up with regional options , plus units that cover multiple countries.

Well. I only brought attention to the fact that you didn't list Haiti in your various picture, nor text description of any of your uploads. That didn't mean you didn't have it in your uploaded maps. Which was a new coverage for North America.

Second, the appropriate SQLite files pertaining to the North America Garmin map are those I listed in my previous statement. Again, you listed SQLite files supposedly pertaining to the North America Garmin map while it is obviously a combination file(s) set [given the size of the files) which include other maps if the device is recognize by Garmin to officialy support more than one region.

SQLite files are SQLite data base files helping for the Search feature. So they basically only depends on the map coverage, not the GPS device I believe.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding.
