Welcome to the forum.
Better to tell us what device you have so we can properly help you with what you have asked for ,if your device is designed for these NTU maps it would be capable of handling the whole of Europe with the addition of an SD card and make use of the additional files JCV, ASR, SID, SQLite etc.
or just download D621022A.img from South includes Italy ,just change it's name to gmapsupp.img to use on an SD card.

Alps & DACH files
Map sets created with MapInstall only create the .img file.
You didn't say what device, previously you mention a nuvi 3590 and you don't have good internet.
Using GE & selecting a regional map is how you get all the additional files except ASR the voice files.
