    My device has only 460mbytes free space (very old nuvi 20), is it possible to reduce size of the Nordics? I mean if u can include like Sweden and Finland only?

    and Nordics is 411 MB (431,505,408 bytes) smaller than your free space.

    Default Garmin Nüvi 1440 cannot open map

    I have downloaded the three part unlocked City Navigator Europe NTU 2022.10.UN Gmap, merged the parts and installed the map on my PC. Then I have loaded the map using Mapinstall to the microSD card in my Nüvi 1440. This was successful with no errors in Mapinstall and I now have two .IMG files in the Map folder on the microSD card. I already have an older map in the Garmin folder. However, when I turn on the Nüvi I get the message that it cannot open the new map, so I still have to use the old one.

    What have I done wrong??

    hello, i have a friend who has a garmin nuvi 1245 without a memory card and needed an unlocked iberia or europe map, thanks

    Replace the gmapprom.img on the device with one of the regional maps from Post #1 rename from gmapsupp to gmapprom
