Hi
I wanted to install CN_EU_2021.10.gmap on a PC
I downloaded the 2 compressed files (part 1, part 2) which I put on the desktop, I unzipped part 1, which gave me a 4.69GB folder (so I think part 2 has been taken into account by decompressing part 1)
Then I moved the unzipped folder to
C / Programs (X86) / Garmin / Maps / CN EU 2021.10.Gmap
But nothing in Basecamp!
the map is not visible in the "Map" tab
On the other hand I took this same CN-EU-2021.10.gmap file that I put on a Mac
Finder / Library / Applications Support / Garmin / Maps
no worries it works perfectly (the address search etc works perfectly)
for the pc, on GMAPTOOL I made the file for Basecamp from the .img file
I got a folder with the "Install.bat" file that I "executed as an administrator",
the map appears on the screen, but the address search does not work, no database accessible
Can you tell me why by installing the .gmap file (downloaded on station 1) on the PC it does not work?

sorry I am not an expert with a PC !!!
it's ok
I managed to find this "ProgramData" folder, it was hidden, thanks again Garmin_Nuvi

Is it possible to have Iberia+France map together?
This map works for my old nuvi 255?
Why this map call FID 8356 ?

So really you only need the latest version for PC as you know how to use MapSource
Download, unpack to C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps
Mapsource/Gmap folder
